Bro. Chris Cates began his ministry journey in 2005. Throughout his ministry, he has served in several capacities including mission work, praise team, college ministry, youth ministry and associate pastor. He and his wife, Kristi are proud parents of nine children and four grandchildren. Chris is a U.S. Army veteran. Chris' prayer is that God will bless his work in Hughes Springs to reach those who do not know Christ, by showing his love for God and extend his love toward neighbors through sharing the Gospel with intentional evangelism and discipleship.
